The Phoenix
The Phoenix collection is inspired by Thean Hou Temple in Kuala Lumpur — a grand, six-tiered sanctuary dedicated to the Queen of Heaven - Thean Hou, protector of those who journey across uncertain waters. Perched high above the city, the temple’s intricate architecture — with its dragons, lanterns, and sweeping views — became the backdrop for a personal turning point.
A photo taken from its rooftop in 2016 marked the beginning of a deeper shift: a release from self-doubt and inherited patterns, and the start of a more peaceful, intentional path. Each piece in this collection draws on that moment — a blend of tradition, transformation, and the power of perspective.
