Travel, design, art, textiles have been a lifelong passion. My earliest artistic endeavors were born out of my active imagination, a fascination with history and historical dress, drawing/painting, the golden age of travel, books, atlases, globes and of course all the fabrics.

Moving from Toronto to New York in the 90s, I eventually got the chance to dabble in fashion and textile design purely as a side interest. Fast forward to children, I started to explore elaborate costume design as an outlet for creative expression. With the opportunity to travel the world for work, my gypsy heart flourished as I found the faith to trust my instincts and take off-the-beaten path detours to explore unique and remote locations. With a new-found interest in photography and access to a plethora of cuisines, exotics smells, luxury fabrics, historic sites, engaging people, local lore and breathtaking landscapes, my senses exploded and the create passion reignited.

This wanderlust has been such a huge part of my life, and though I’ve had the good fortune to travel and create as a hobby, my art never got the true attention it deserved. Today, I’ve channeled those childhood dreams into Passepartout, a personal homage to all my creative passions and a passport to explore creativity in every thing and in every place. Inspired by Jules Verne’s valet from Around the World in 80 Days, one of my first childhood reads that truly lit this wanderlust, Passepartout now offers curated wearable art of the stories and experiences I captured in photographs from these travels.

Grab your passport and join the wanderlust!
